Alice in Wonderland
I have, for quite sometimes, been delaying to watch Alice in Wonderland due to workloads. So finally last Saturday, I went to see the movie with my two guys (husband and son) and Ann, my PTS buddy. We watched the non 3D version.
The set and costumes were, without any doubt, magnificent; Mad Hatter, the two queens, Alice, the castles (Red and White), the Wonderland and everything! Of course Tim Burton (the director) never fails to amaze us with his beautiful visions! Kudos! But the movie’s storyline was somehow a bit flat; too simple. I was expecting a more complex and challenging adventure. It was written by Linda Wolverton for Disney based on Carroll’s books: Alice in Wonderland and Looking Through The Glass.
Poster is downloaded from Disney’s page.
You know what I really wanted to see? Tim Burton’s real take on the movie; in terms of writing the screenplay as well as maintaining being the director. I love his previous movies like Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Chritmas, Corpse Bride in which he was the writer/creator.
Overall, it was worth the watch.

Yea, agak bosan lah jugak. Yang spec 3D tu buat sakit hidung, berat sangat. But okay lah jugak, not that bad.

Banyak orang bilang ni movie tidaklah seheboh mana trailernya. Dan yang pasti tidak cocok buat kanak kanak.
