I was wondering if you would be interested in possibly speaking to the students or reading a book of yours over Zoom? They love when authors visit and we would be so honored if you would consider.   Hi Pn. Emila,

  First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Jerome P’ng and I am representing Southern Lion Sdn. Bhd. I work as Senior Brand Manager for the Household department in Sothern Lion in charge of the detergent brand TOP.

  The reason of myself writing you this email is regarding a collaboration proposal between TOP and yourself on an annual “Back To School” CSR program that TOP held every Nov/Dec.

  Every year, TOP will pick one or two retailer like AEON, Giant or Tesco as exclusive CSR partner (For this year, we picked Shopee and AEON), where for every bottle of detergent sold via our partner, TOP will donate RM0.30 to RM0.50 and pool the money to purchase a standard donation pack which consists of school uniform, shoes, stationary and other schooling necessities and distribute it to the school children in need. Last year, we had contributed around 400 standard donation pack.

  For this year, we decided that we want to do something different. We want to give out an additional illustrated story book into the standard donation pack as a form of education. Given the Covid-19 pandemic and the importance of keeping hygienic and stays healthy, the storyline of the book would revolves around education of personal hygiene.

  We are very impressed with Pn. Emila’s illustration and story book that you had published – hence on behalf of the brand, we hope that we could collaborate with yourself in this CSR program. We would like Pn. Emila’s participation by coming out with a book with abovementioned storyline.

  This illustrated story book is strictly not for sale, but to be given out to

  1) Customer that purchase our TOP Detergent above a certain amount (TBC) in Shopee/AEON.
  2) Media partner as part of the PR Kit
  3) KOL that collaborate with us
  4) Children that receiving our standard donation pack (We targeting to donate 500 standard donation pack for this year)

  There will be various way for us to collaborate with the brand for example:-

  1) We would like to request Pn. Emila to craft the storyline and illustration of the book, and we will produce the book. (Please let me know your rate)
  2) If Pn. Emila is willing to have more involvement in this CSR program, we could even discuss further to get Pn. Emila to endorse this CSR program.
