    Best diet pill

I was just surfing the web looking for the best diet pill and I came across an article by Jeffrey Hauser, whose wife died of heart attack due to decades of obesity. His article is very interesting as he told that “in harsh reality, the hardest pill to swallow is the one that we don’t want to hear: eating less and having lower caloric intake while properly exercising, is the only viable solution that is guaranteed to work every time”.

I will start exercise, eat less and take lower caloric food tomorrow. I hope I will have a lot of willpower to do this. I need to loose back at least 10kg!

    Climbing – IF *

Illustration Friday’s challenge this week is ‘Climbing’.

As promised, here’s a continuation of previous illustration.

”They saw a ghost; a Beetleghost! They somehow managed to run and next thing they knew they were climbing up a tree and snuggling up to each other.”

”Beetleghost won’t leave till they come down from the tree. After being tired of being scared, brilliant Emot has an idea…”

Hehe sorry, another cliffhanger! I hope I can create a continuation out of next week’s challenge. Till then. I’ve created a category for this – Dollies Adventure.

    Birds Park revisited *

The last time we went to Birds Park it was December 2006. Since it was school Holiday for a week, I took my family to Birds Park last Saturday. There was 10 of us; my mother, my sister and bro-in-law with their 4 children, my cousin, my son and me.

We had fun but it turned sour when Yassin lost his pink Gameboy. We went back to the Birds Park to look for it but it was no more there.

    KLCC Park *

My sister-in-law and her family was in town last week because her daughter, Jannah, is having follow-up physiotherapy treatment and colonoscopy examination at the KL Hospital.

We took them to KLCC Park last Thursday. Yassin and his cousin Idham (they’re at the same age) had a blast! Here are some pictures from our outings taken by my husband.

    Keychains *

I bought a pack of empty wooden keychains December last year and finally took some time off to experiment mounting my artwork to it. I used black acrylic to paint the surface and later mount my artworks (printed on high quality matte paper) and finished them off with glossy varnish. I plan to make plenty of them but I need to find good cut wood pieces; the ones that I bought were not so good. I’ve checked with etsy, there are some sellers selling these but the shipping is expensive. Do you have any idea where to buy them?

    Daliza’s header and totes

My best buddy, Daliza commissioned me to create a header and two totes for her. The totes has real pictures montage (of her son, Ali) on them. Pictures montage was supplied by Daliza and I printed it on dark fabric iron-on transfer. This type of transfer sheets are a bit difficult to handle and I actually wasted 4 sheets in the process hehe.

Inside lining; the red one is for her, the pinkie is for her mom

Overall, I am satisfied with the finished totes. So was she!

I currently have a tote with beading works in hand (ordered by Jia), 2 books and one magazine to design and a children’s novel to write. With my home based business and freelancing jobs, I guess I have so little time to draw. I will somehow steal time to draw; this I promise to myself.
