Moleskine Challenge: Merbah
Merbah | Mixed media on moleskine
63 pages left! Used Prismacolor colored pencils for the foreground and oil pastel for the background. I didn’t really like the thick pastel effect on this one so I wiped it off with tissue to achieve a very thin layer.
This specific Merbah (bulbul) is of the Yellow-vented species.

Maria, praktis banyak2. As for me kalau pensel warna tu, kak emi suka tekan lebey skit dan suka asah bila tumpul sikit. Apa lagi ek? Aku buntu, pi google lah; keyword ‘drawing technique’ ‘beginner’s how-to color’
