KL: DinoTrek 2 at KLCC PetroSains
Last July, my son was into dinosaurs and he would browse the internet, youtube and books to feed his insatiable needs for more information about them. He even drafted out a dinosaur game!
I’m not sure how to play it but basically I just have to press the round button and he would do all the effects himself.
Looking at his enthusiasm, my husband suggested that we bring him to see ‘real’ dinosaurs at DinoTrek 2 Exhibition, PetroSains KLCC.
My son was all excited! From the moment we stepped in until the moment we stepped out, his questions were endless! He really had fun that day and made us promised to come back again to see the dinosaurs.
I think DinoTrek 2 is a great exhibition to bring your children to. It is educational and fun!
So if you happen to be in KLCC, do stop by the DinoTrek 2. It showcases 5 types of dinosaurs and they are Protoceratops, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex and Velociraptors.

Fun filled interactive games like Dino Chase, betend, Dino Puzzle, Dino Dig, Dino Quiz, Dino Dance, Dino Quest will keep your children (and you) entertained!

For your information, DinoTrek was first opened to the public in 2002 before venturing out in 2004 to make it even bigger, DinoTrek 2. Aims to remind us all to be open to the possibilities of what history may have been, DinoTrek 2 helps demystify common myths associated with these prehistoric creatures

Turning 40
Yesterday, I turned 40. Forty. Vierzig. Quarante. Empat Puluh. Frankly, I don’t care if I turned 50 yesterday. I just love being myself, being a mom to a rambunctious 6 years old, being a wife to the coolest and genius husband, being a daughter to the world’s greatest mom/parents in-law, being a sister to wonderful siblings/cousins, being a sister-in-law to the in-laws, being a niece to understanding aunts/uncles, being an aunt to cute entertaining nephews/nieces and being a friend to beautiful people, regardless what my age is.
Here’s looking forward to more decades!
If you dread turning 40, don’t. Here are some quotes randomly picked from the internet for you to ponder and smile at:
At age 20, we worry about what others think of us. At 40, we don’t care what they think of us. At 60, we discover they haven’t been thinking of us at all. ~ Ann Landers
I’m not 40, I’m eighteen with 22 years experience. ~ Author Unknown
The first forty years of life give us the text: the next thirty supply the commentary. ~ Arthur Schopenhauer
At twenty years of age, the will reigns; at thirty, the wit; and at forty, the judgment. ~ Benjamin Franklin
Forty is the old age of youth; fifty is the youth of old age. ~ French Proverb
Life begins at forty. ~ W B Pitkin -

Zoo Negara
Finally! After more than 20 years, I revisited Zoo Negara (National Zoo) today for the 3rd time. The first visit was when I was 10 and second time was when I was 19. The trip to the zoo is actually less than half an hour from my home but I do not know why it took me so long to revisit the place. Went only with my son as husband got to go to work. We had fun calling out to the animals while waving at them. It was like meeting long lost friends, really 😀
Here are some pictures from the zoo (click to enlarge):

Halloween is just around the corner and junk food is the typical trick or treating fodder. Have you ever thought of treating something different? Something that is healthy for kids as well as environmentally safe? You have? That is great! I knew that you thought about it! Ok, I might have a suggestion for you to add in your list: chocolate milk in single serve, shelf stable cartons! That is right!
You don’t think that the idea is good? Before you brush this idea off, let’s go through these facts:
