FB cover illustration and website header for 1Artikel
It’s a package of all the above plus banners of various sizes. Firdaus from 1Artikel leave it all up to me to design and has no fuss at all of about the concept. At first I have no idea of what to illustrate for 1Artikel. Artikel simply means article, a piece of writing, so…I came up with illustrations of writing tools; you know, papers, pen, ink, mouse (to represent PC or laptop) and coffee! LOL why coffee?I know many writer friends who are addicted to coffee, so yes, coffee. I draw and write, you can count me in one of them addicts.
Media: digital vector (AI CS5) and scanned images. The background is actually a spread page of my old BM dictionary.

Working on a header and timeline cover photo/profile picture for 1artikel…need to add more elements. Apalagi ya nak tambah?
Oh I think the pen is fat like me, gotta draw thinner one. But then maybe not. I can add a bottle of ink. Brilliant! I love the fat pen.

Added tissue as per suggestion by MissyN. Also added an ink bottle with the cap down. Added some splats near the pen. Ok not? The profile will look as if it is a part of the cover photo.

Mr Akor wanted the profile image to be somehow connected to the cover photo for his Malaysia Tanah Air Ku in a cartoon concept, so this is what I came with. The idea is totally his. Cool, innit?

Banner for Malaysia Speaks
This one was done a day before I left for Shanghai few days back. The website owner of Malaysia Speaks wanted me to draw the major ethnic groups and some prominent landmarks in Malaysia, so I came up with this. There were no amendments at all. Glad they like it!
