Color me Maroon

My mom came in from the garden and told me there’s a dragonfly perching on her orchids and thought I would be interested in taking its pictures. Of course, I would! Dragonfly is my favourite creature and I wouldn’t want to miss capturing it.

Here’s a maroon dragonfly, fresh from my mom’s garden. I love its color combination of maroon and orange. Posted this also in the other side of emila, where i mostly blog about my photography.

    omg! i can’t believe this!! how on earth did you capture this shot! it’s so detailed and clear!! i love this shot alot!! great combination of colours. All along, I thought dragonfly is black. 😛 Thanks for sharing, woman!

    I have more than 30 shots for this dragonfly. I have 3 or 4 clear shots of it. Good thing about digital camera is you don’t have to worry about wasting films.

    I love details and taking close-up pictures of them bugs, makes me happy. I bet you didn’t know that ladybird got hair!

    hi emila & marzie, im back. i had dinner at sushi zanmai, pyramid. u know what, we saw three tiny cockroaches on the table, just roht in front of us. First one was a very tiny one, like a 2mm length. Martin killed it wt a cover. Then during our dinner, we saw again another one, this pne was much bigger, like a 1cm length. It was crawling along the table, we asked the waitress to come & see, she killed it with a tissue. And that’s it! No sorry from her or any free dinner! (haha, was expecting something to cover our mouth)..anyway, after that we saw again another one. It was smaller but bigger than the first one. This time, we just leave it. We were just about to ask for the bill. Can you believe it? eeww… gross lar!!

    haha, marzie, with you being my competitor, i cannot be lying low for long. hehe.. actually martin is rushing me to watch dvd. but i had to topple u first for tonight!! i didn’t even visit AGP, poor all my readers who left comments there. I will check on them early tomorrow morning. Hoprefully i’ll be able to still be the top tomorrow. ><

    Ha ha ha, that’s why la I saw furry semacam je ur ladybird! It was really up-close and personal la ur pic, ur camera must be a damn good one! 😀

    Jean!!!!! I once saw a tiny cockroach at a rest (u know la which one, my fave!) on the wall, near our table. Threw a huge tantrum (my fren la made me throw tantrum!) and got 100 bucks voucher for next visit LOL!!! You shld have throwna tantrum cause got 3 cockroaches!! 😡 😡

    hehe… oh so my toughest competitor is out huh! I shall prepare my missiles now. Im going out later to IKEA and then to kepong for dinner wt my friends, so i better load up all my missiles before u r back! hehe… Happy Saturday, woman!

    yeah.. that’s what i like about digital camera too!! Can really practice our photography with it without fearing that we will waste the films. 🙂

    Sigh! Sometimes the guys just malas to make noise kan, unlike us glas who need to throw tantrums he he!! 300 voucher would have been superb Jean, and ur tantrum would have made a good post for AGP! :mrgreen:
