Homework
Another one of my illo for a custom-made calendar.
Seriously, my son has this problem doing homework. Same thing when he reads a book at night. He will fall asleep very easily. And after knowing this, I always ask him to read a book so that he can sleep early.
As for me, if I want to sleep early, I read a dictionary. I get to enrich at least few vocabularies each time before falling asleep. If I read a novel, I won’t be sleeping at all.

I really love seeing the banner across Google today in conjunction with Mark Twain’s 176th birthday. It’s a beautiful drawing depicting a scene in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (written in 1876) where the character of Tom Sawyer cleverly persuades his friends to trade him small treasures for the privilege of painting a fence, that Tom was asked to do as a punishment.
The Doodle’s style may refer to the original Twain illustrator, True Williams.
