So what do you do with a bunch of twigs?

You can do wonders if you want. Like these:

Although I have two big trees at my front yard but there wasn’t enough supply to make the above. So what I did was, went to the park, KL Lake Garden to be precise, and collect dry twigs. I am very sure that DBKL wouldn’t mind as I was doing nature a big favour; recycling.

Cool projects, right? I bought the plain frames from Ikea (3 for RM5.90) and made the pencils stand out of tissue tube. Covered the bottom part with layers of masking tape. I don’t think you need instruction for these projects as you can already figure it out by looking at them pictures.

    Chic girls

Made for Littlemama from Mom Bloggers Planet, I kinda got bored with my dolly characters and offered her chic girls instead.

They have the same face except different hair and outfit 😛

I made Littlemama’s new headers and banners outta these newly created girls.

    Happy Chinese New Year…

…and Happy Valentine’s Day for those who celebrate.

I’ll be away for the weekend and be back on Sunday night. Will be driving down to Johor with husband and son to attend an engagement event of our niece. We thought of driving during the day but the weather is so hot that we decided to drive tonight.

For those who are driving as well, take care and please drive carefully. Stop and have a break if you are sleepy.

    A cute letter!

I received a surprise in the mailbox yesterday!

A letter from my son! Lol!

    So let’s see what’s inside…

…two cards, err I mean one and a half card that my son wants me to take notice of!

Yassin thought that we can try to save Dodos but little did he knows that Dodos had become extinct before 1700; the last Dodo died a little more than a century after the species’ discovery in 1581.

Anyway, we can try to save the latter. You can ‘adopt’ a rhino HERE.

Note to Yassin: Thanks baby for the reminder!

    Got milk carton?

I try not to buy toys for Yassin nowadays coz it would take him less than 5 minutes to spoil them. So what I do is, recycle from what we already have, for example a toy house out of milk carton.

You need a small milk carton, acrylic paints, a brush and a cutter knife. First, you got to glue the opening (where we insert the straw). Paint the top part with brown color and bottom, yellow. Of course you can use your favourite color. Draw a roof pattern on the roof. After it dries, cut out a door and windows. That’s it.

Yassin likes this house very much, instead of putting his cute stuffed toys, he put real ladybirds inside but of course they didn’t like it there and flew away.
