Fleeting Moments: Illustrated Haiku Poems

One day while browsing through books in a second-hand bookshop, I found a book entitled The Classic Tradition of Haiku; An Anthology, edited by Faubion Bowers, published by Dover in 1996. I flipped through it and liked the contents, so I bought it for RM5.00. I took it home and read it several times to understand more about Haiku poetry.

Fleeting MomentsHaiku poetry makes me wonder and wander far beyond the written words. I fell in love with it. I can read it with ease and sometimes I can interpret a Haiku poem with mental pictures. I decided to create my own Haiku poems. I posted some of them online and a friend told me that it would be great if I could publish them.

So here I am with my own Haiku poems, Fleeting Moments: Illustrated Haiku Poems, published by Oyez!Books. As I am an illustrator, I thought I could add value to each poem with an illustration.

Most of my Haiku poems are inspired by my travels. Some might be about the feelings I felt while sitting alone in my hotel room looking out the window. Some purely based on the feelings I had while travelling.

I hope you will enjoy reading my illustrated Haiku poems. You can buy from my store or at Oyez Book Store. My store only accept PayPal and credit/debit car via PayPal while Oyez accepts payment via iPay88.
