    Featured in Moleskinerie! *

It is such an honour to be featured in Moleskinerie! Knew about this when I check incoming links in my wordpress dashboard.

Moleskinerie is a blog dedicated to all Moleskine users all around the world and was established by Armand B. Frasco, an artist and aspiring photo documentarist based in Illinois, U.S.A. In January 2008, Moleskinerie has been acquired by Moleskine.com.

Here’s the permanent link: Video: Emila Yusof.

Special thanks to Rhomany (saw her name there) for spreading my Moleskine video!

My Moleskine on You Tube *

I don’t have a camcorder, so this is just a collection of stills which were compressed and then compiled in Windows Movie Maker with fade out and random pan effects. The duration is 3:27, so uploading might take some times. The accompanying audio is taken from You Tube AudioSwap Library entitled Dare To Dream by Jamie K; nice song, I love it! I do hope you enjoy this video.

You can also view all the artworks in my MOLESKINE category.

    Golden Jubilee

My parents-in-law celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last Saturday and the whole family gathered together to mark the special day. Recital of Surah Yaasin and Doa Selamat prayer has been held earlier the day.

Ok, I will post pictures of Yassin’s birthday shortly but before that I need to clear off pending assignments, reply e-mails, illustrate for IF, look for auto insurance quotes, do blog visitings, update my other site, sew some bags any many more!

    Finally! *

    Pen and Ink

With this sketch, I now officially finished my own challenge of completing my Moleskine Sketch Book before the year ends. All artworks done in the moleskine are merely to enhance my artistic skill and to explore the use of art medium. I learned that watercolor is not good on this type of paper (but it’s perfect for pencil colors) and the acrylic cannot be too thick, else it would be glued to the opposite page.

I had fun drawing in the moleskine and as for next year, I will be challenging myself to complete my Moleskine Watercolor Journal. I’ve been keeping it for over a year and thought it would be nice to fill it up with watercolor works.

    Fin! *

Don’t be fooled as I have two more pages at the very front of my moleskine to draw.

I excitedly drew this finishing page earlier today 😛

I will be leaving for Tangkak to celebrate my parent in-law’s 50th wedding anniversary in the evening and will try my best to make a quickie drawing in the morning.

Thank you Marzie, Anna, Noktah Hitam, Haaziq, Precociously Naive and all for viewing and accompanying me at these very wee hours!

Me off to bed, nite-nite everybody!
