Discovery – Illustration Friday
Discovery | material: color pencil
Source: Discovery Channel Myths Unmasked: Myth#2.
Additional info: The stitches were the brainchild of Jacob Davis, a Russian immigrant, the man who virtually invented the Levi’s jean. In 1870, Davis approached the wholesale company that sold him his denim, offering to sell the west coast rights to his riveted jeans in exchange for the cost of securing a patent. The wholesaler was Levi Strauss.

Emila, see that you changed your header. I am thinking what is the meaning behind that illustration…. care to share what’s in your mind when you pen that illustration? The leaves look quite real… GOOD WORK again, Emila 🙂
Btw, I will link you from my blog if you don’t mind 🙂

Thank you all for the lovely comments.
Janice: Hello Janice, great to see you here. I did the illustration for the Illustration Friday’s Green theme. Basically, it means I love nature and love sleeping under green shades. I did the preliminary illustration in Adobe Illustrator and later exported it in Photoshop for effects and shading.
