KL: A to Z on Fun Things To Do & Places To Visit With Kids {K}
Typical fun entertainment for kids at shopping complexes. There are coin-operated rides as well as attendant-operated rides. For a RM1 (50 cent X 2) coin-operated ride, you (your kids) get 3 minutes ride. As for the attendant-operated it depends on the management, some cheap some expensive. Minimum is RM6 for 5 minutes!
Every time my son saw these rides, he will jump up and down asking for money. Luckily I only shop once a month, so it’s not that bad. Normally I spent Rm16; 10x coin-operated different types of rides (i.e. Bob The Builder, Thomas The Train, Batman car, etc) and 1x attendant-operated ride.
If you know places around Kuala Lumpur that provide kiddies rides, do let me know! Thanks heap!
So far:
- Suria KLCC
- Mid Valley, KL
- Jusco Taman Maluri, KL
- Carrefour Wangsa Maju, KL
- Carrefour Cheras, KL
- Tesco Ampang, Pandan Prima, KL

KL: A to Z on Fun Things To Do & Places To Visit With Kids {J}
Jogging is a great activity that we parents can do with our children. Children will be more likely to be physically active if it’s something they can do with their family.
Familiar jogging tracks in Kuala Lumpur that my husband and I often bring our son to are KLCC Park, Titiwangsa Lake and Lake Garden.
KLCC Jogging/Running Track
A 1.3 km. long jogging track is laid with EPDM, a special rubberized material for comfort and safety. Rest areas are provided along interconnecting footpaths.Titiwangsa Lake
Stretches over a sprawling area of 46 hectares of land, this recreational park is equipped with a lot of facilities suitable for jogging, canoeing, aqua biking and other outdoor activities. Two of the most unique attractions of the parks is the Radio Control Car Racing Track and the Horse Riding Facility.Lake Garden
The park is fully equipped with pedestrian walkways and jogging paths as well as exercise equipment to aid walkers and joggers in their quest to keep fit.Entrance is FREE for all 3 parks so come, jog on!
p/s: Please note that jogging is an aerobic exercise that helps strengthen our heart, lungs, muscles, and bones. It is recommended that a beginner start with a walking program and move up to jogging.

KL: Did you know? II
Did you know that on 8 August 1995, the lifting of skybridge was halted for few hours due to bad weather condition? The storm struck in the evening and the wind was so strong that the engineers worried the lifting cables would sway and snap in the wind.
It was lifted to its final position at the 41st and 42nd levels of the PETRONAS Twin Towers on 9 August 1995 after grueling 32 hours.
The skybridge was not part of the KLCC initial design. It was added later to facilitate an escape route between the Petronas Twin Towers.
This is part of my blog entry for Blog4ft, please vote for me by clicking below banner, it’s already open for voting. YOu do not need to register to vote, juct click on the stars rating. Thanks heap!

KL: Did You Know? I
Did you know that if you follow the main road and keep right after the Sungai Besi Toll (from South), you’ll end up back at the Sungai Besi Toll? Just remember the ribbon-shaped route illustrated above and you’re good to go.
If you are just driving-through without the intention of stopping by anywhere, this route is the best for you. You’ll see some of the main landmarks of Kuala Lumpur. If by accident you entered the Smart Tunnel, no worries, you are still on the right track. Just keep right.
Tips by my husband, actually 😀
