I changed my gallery layout!

I hate the fact that a vertical single picture was so big that I had to scroll down to another fold to view the rest of it. So, to make things easier, I looked for another template and found a great one – Fotofolio. Pictures are smaller now and the complete photos can be seen in one fold. Good for me. Heh.

Updated my gallery with more photos. I’m not a pro, expect flaws here and there.

One night (it was Christmas night), my husband and I got bored, so we went out to take photos. Here’s one of the photos I like.

Angle spot: Road divider, Jalan Ampang 4-Junction near traffic lights: straight heading to KL (to BSN and all), left to Jalan Pinang, right to Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.

Everything that I do, it’s basic. I use whatever I have, including my own son as my model.

Our cat, Tiger went missing a week before my mom returned from Makkah. We searched high and low for him but he’s nowhere near. We suspected that he has been picked up by someone whom, we suspected, is looking for a cat.

Later, a week after my mom got back, my cousin gave us a kitten. But it ended with a tragedy.

Recently, we found a stray cat. Mom fell in love with him because of his similarity with tiger (only he has short tail – kontot, in Malay), so we took him home. My son, Yassin, named him Kontot after the tail. But then he got creative and named the cat, Sabertot.

I never knew how to capture light trail photograph and the night before Christmas, my husband and I went out to capture the above subject, knowing that there would be traffic all night long.

This one is the view from Ampang (south) to KL (north):

Location: Pedestrian Bridge, Ampang (near Star LRT station)
Aperture: f/22
Exposure time: 15sec
ISO Speed: 100

We later switched to the opposite side and adjusted the setting:

Aperture: f/16
Exposure time: 20sec
ISO Speed: 100

And this was captured from inside our car, I forgot to adjust to auto, so the last setting applied.

The result: messy Light trails!

It makes a great abstract background though, in my opinion.

A moth perched on my printer the other day. I think it wanted me to switch off the printer when not in use. I always seem to forget to do that even though my husband reminded me thousands of times.

One advantage of having landed home is that you have uninvited winged visitors all the time.

I dunno why but everytime I see a moth, it will reminds me of Janet Jackson’s That’s The Way Love Goes. It has a lyric like this: Like a moth to a flame burned by the fire, my love is blind, can’t you see my desire?

That’s why I put the title like that.
