Line art of sleepy woman
I know…I have tons of jobs to be done…but once in every few hours I need to stop and do things I love; draw and sketch from deep within my heart, traditionally. Nowadays my bag is heavy, this is because I carry 4 sketchbooks in my bag; one for Italy sketches, one for line arts, one for pencil sketches and another one for doodling and scribbling rough ideas.
Top 2 has been completed, 3rd one few more pages, 4th few more pages left also, bottom 4 are still under progress. The rest of my sketches/paintings are in finished art loose pieces; watercolor papers, matteboard and canvas. But I cannot beat my son who has more than 50 sketchbooks already…and reams of A4 papers full of his sketches.
Anyway, here’s one from line art sketchbook. Still under progress.

It’s all about women…
Collection of my illustrations/paintings, be it digital or traditional, of women. Maybe I’ll add quotable quotes about women on each page when I have the time. Hope you enjoy looking!
I’m hooked on Issuu! Here you can read and view commercial publications as well as personals. My favourites are those about illustrations. Yeah, I guess you’d already figured that out ^_^
Big thanks to ANNY for introducing me to Issuu!!!! Thank you so much Anny!

Legendary – IF
I’m still hooked on line work. The challenge at IF is to illustrate ‘Legendary’. This is my interpretation of the legendary fiction character by Lewiss Carroll, Alice. I dunno whether this suits the challenge but here it is. Took 3 hours to complete the line work and I already felt tired. There’s a little bit empty space at the back to draw; will attend to it when time permits.
Lol! i think her dress looks a bit like barcode! Talk about barcode, I went to search the inventor of barcode, lol! Curiosity killed the cat but not me! Thanks to the internet technology i know now who invented barcode. It was invented by Joseph Woodland and Bernard Silver. There! And oh, it wasn’t until 1974 that barcode scanners was employed.

I dream in pink *
I dream in pink | Watercolor + acrylicMade this for no particular reason, I kinda missed the fun using watercolor, so that must be it. The background was a mess so I cut off the woman and paint a new background out of acrylic. Ok, maybe this one will add up to my Woman Series drawings.

Dreamy Again | digital sketch
Thought I make use of my new Wacom Intuos 3 Tablet, here’s a digital sketch using pencil stroke in Corel. My husband made me use Corel instead of Photoshop. I think I love the way this program works, Enjoyed every minute of it! Will post the finish drawing soon.
I gave my old wacom tablet to my son and he’s been practising how to use it.

Dream collage
Dream | Collage
I’m digging again today. Found my one and only collage that I did back in 1995. Wow, 13 years back! Lol, now I remember how it all started with the half faced woman illustrations. I thought half face concept is simply unique and frankly, I rather not repeat the same process with the other half.
I have put up a category of Women Series, so that you can browse them.
Materials used: Magazine cuts, sisal string, net, acrylic (for the face) and fake rose petals.
