KL illustration: Bukit Bintang
I have done all 10 drawings and currently awaits for the publisher to give feedback. I still need to do little relevant pencil sketches to accompany texts.
This time my style is a bit laid back and relax, just like my other travel illustrations.

Sketchy Sunday #7: By the pool…
I haven’t got the time to post up my sketches for many weeks already, thought I post one this week. This one was drawn last weekend at De Palma Hotel Kuala Selangor while watching my son having fun in the pool.

WiP: KL Illustrations II
So ok, the illo I drew is not what my publisher expected. She wants it more like those that I drew for my Italy sketchbook. And I am working on it since yesterday. The details are countless but am enjoy drawing it. With my pair of new glasses, I can draw now for hours without having blurry vision and teary eyes.

Fairies
We were watching Tinkerbell on Disney the other day and next thing we knew, my son and I took out our papers and started to draw fairies.

Sketches of people
I bought a small Derwent Carnet ( a sketchbook) a day before I leave for Seoul and find it very good. It has the same quality of Moleskine sketchbook I bought previously; same yellowish paper and weight. The size is smaller. And the price? Half of moleskine’s price! For a broke artist like me, Derwent Carnet is a gem. But Moleskine is still in my heart, gonna get it soon.
I bought it at CZipLee Plus, Bangsar. Thanks CZipLee for selling the best art stuff! More info about CZipLee here: http://www.cziplee.com
