    Bookmaking

bb1.jpgI’ve made an attempt to make my own sketchbook using traditional sewing method. Boy! It was sure hard! (I’ve spend approx. 5 hours doing just this!) After much frustration (though it won’t stop me from perfecting the skill), I resolved to a simpler method by gluing the spine of the sketchbook (perfect binding). It took me only half an hour to finish. I love the look of it! And the best thing is, I got to print my own illo as the cover!

Yay! My very own handbound sketchbook!

As for this one, I used my old stock of premade notepads and
made the covers out of greyboard and yards. Lined the inside
    with scrapbook papers.

I feel that there are so many things to learn yet so little time.
