Of the bluest skies in Malaysia
Do you love looking up the sky and see the bluest hue of it? I do. I call it blue sky-therapy. The color blue gives me the feelings of calmness, serenity, peaceful, tranquil, secure, and orderly. It also reduces stress. Travelling gives me the chance get all that. And it is pivotal for me to capture photos of sky because I can never get the same sky if I travel to the same place again.
So, do you know why the sky is blue? The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air. However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue.
Here are random sky photos from around Malaysia I captured with my Nikon DSLR that I want to share with you. Whenever you are in stress, do come back here often and see my sky photos.
Enjoy!

If you follow me on Instagram, I think you already got the idea that I love to take photos. To me photography is art, much like painting, that allows me to express my feeling and emotions. If brushes and canvas are my main tools is painting, camera and the world represent just that in my world of photography. I am not a pro but I try to better myself in photography in terms of composition and angle.
So, this year I joined a project called ProjectLife365; an interactive photo-a-day-challenge that helps develop visual literacy by giving daily prompts that engage imagination. Been posting since week 3 (missing out on earlier weeks but catching up) and to my surprise, my photo was featured last Wednesday for ‘arrangement’ daily prompt.
Do follow me on Instagram (username: emilayusof) as I also share my travel pictures locally and internationally. Do visit ProjectLife365 if you are interested to join in the interactive photo-a-day-challenge.

Windows photo collection
These are window photos I’ve captured with my old Nikon DSLR while travelling. I love looking at the beauty of windows. Location includes Malaysia, Italy, South Africa and South Korea. I hope I will have the opportunity to add windows from other countries as well.
With this post, I reached 1880 posts. 132 more to reach 2012 posts by the year 2012. -
