Earth Hour 2011
In support of Earth hour 2011, I have switched off all the light at home. With only the light from my laptop I am typing this and edit the picture to put my watermark :p hehe no can do, ap..ap…my photo is MY PHOTO.
On the background is Yassin. And those are candles I bought from Ikea last year. Vanilla scent! I somehow lost my candle holder…probably under my bed. Haha. I’m not going to search for it now. My son said Casper is waiting there.
Submitted to Earth Hour Flickr group as well and is on the front page, well, at least for now until other members upload their pictures. Hehe.

Sleep
The other day, while eating out and waiting for food to be served, I took out my sketchbook and draw the cover. My husband said, “lagi lagi perempuan tidur…always sleeping woman…let me show you my interpretation of sleep.” He took my son’s sketchbook and draw. I was like LMAO hahaha too cute! And then my son, not wanting to left behind, draw his own sleep version.

Word Search
My boy made word search puzzles for his father. I think this is great, it stimulates his thinking as well as enriches him (or the father, hehe) with more vocabulary. So far there are 3, here’s one:
Yassin gave his dad 4 stars for this one!

Yassin turns 7!
Every year when he turns a year older, I will feel as if he had been born just a day before. I remember vividly giving birth to him on the afternoon (12.55pm) of 29th December, seven years ago. I was in the labour room for more or less 12 hours. My water broke the night before and he seemingly wanted to come out early but it was not until afternoon that he came out.
Yassin in the labour room. 1 day old.
And I freshly remember how he started making repetitive, high-pitched giggles, shrieks and noises… (he do this up to date)
Yassin saying googoogaagaa to the rubber duck. 5 months old.
I remember how he made the sad face when his pacifier being taken away…
6 months old.
…and how he poked the cake on his first birthday…
1 year old
…and when he started to walk fast…
1 year 1 months
…and how he made that angry face.
1 year 2 months. oh! i love that curly hair!
Hehe I can go on and on showing thousands of pictures of him up to 7 years old, you know! I think I’m going to make a video out of pictures of him from day 1 up to now when time permits. Till then, here are some pictures from his little birthday celebration at home with his two cousins, grandma, his dad and me.
He just lost his upper front tooth so blowing was quite hard…

P/S: Sorry for the long gap of posts, I wasn’t feeling too well. Been sick since the 22nd and was up just to post the xmas entry. I am feeling better now.

Genting Highland
We went up to Genting Highland last Wednesday. Yassin has been wanting to go there for quite sometimes already. We took the family package tickets (RM192) for 2 adults and 2 children. This package covers both indoor and outdoor parks except for some areas.
It was fun visiting this big theme park with over 40 rides. There’s so much of excitement and fun loads of thrilling adventures. At the outdoor park, Yassin and his cousin Marina got on a tea-cup ride as their height does not permits entry.
Known as the ‘Fun City Above the Cloud’, Genting Highlands is the only legal land-based casino, Casino de Genting, in the country and is owned by Genting Malaysia Berhad, a subsidiary of Genting Group. The resort has three theme parks which are Genting Outdoor Theme Park, First World Indoor Theme Park and Water Park. There are over 20 signature attractions which include Flying Coaster, Genting Sky Venture, Haunted House, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum, SnowWorld, Space Shot. There are fees to enter these attractions.
