My! Setting up a shop on zen platform is not easy!! I had to read the manual chapter by chapter!! I have changed the default classic template to a template that I like and changed some of the settings. It works just like wordpress but you gotta know how to do it. They got so many add-ons to begin with and you gotta be careful where to upload the files.  There’s no easy way, read the manuals and you’re it!

I am in the process to add products but at the meantime, here’s a snapshot of the new shop. Oh, for your information, zen cart is free. If you got a domain and hosting with pre-install scripts, you can easily install the program and customise to your needs.

I have changed the URL as well but redirected the the old URL to the new one: Emila’s Littleshop.

I dunno why but my lilshop’s shopping cart is not working well. The WP E-Commerce plugin has gone haywire for the past week and I am in the process to set-up a new shop on Zen Cart platform. Will let you know soon as I completed the shop as this is the first time am using Zen so expect a week till I get it up nicely. For the time being, I am processing orders from Diya, Kamal and Mez offline and is closing the shop temporarily. Till next week!

A problem will occur on order which have very limited stocks. It’ll prompt the ‘out of stock’ message. If you want to remove the order, you can do so by hitting the remove and empty cart button on the item post and sidebar respectively before you hit the make purchase button. This will make sure the next person who wants the item can order.
