I take my own sweet time to add details as the publisher grant me extension period until Monday. To me, without these little details, the castle won’t be a Malay castle. I think these details are pivotal in educating kids about Malay heritage.

Next will be the steps. The Melaka style.

Submitted 11 illustrations already to the publisher yesterday. Still owe them another 11; illo 12 to 22. Done illo 12, now creating illo 13. For this one, I have to draw a castle by the lake on the background with Hanani at the foreground reading a magical book with things popping out from it. I still haven’t slept since 3 am yesterday. Will be a zombie come 3am today. All I did was adding details to illo 12, clearing some mug orders with new illustrations, tags and stickers printing (including cutting) not to mention running to the post office and what not.

I think I’m going to sleep after this. Just need to add some details to the castle before continuing with the magical book tomorrow.

Not a disney kind lah. Still flat as I have yet to add texture to the house, shading, as well as plants and trees and flowers. Oh not to leave behind clouds….lotsa clouds as the castle is situated at Negeri Di Awan. Hmm in that case, I need to replace the grass with clouds.
