I am a year older today…
…so does Carrie Fisher, Melora Walters and Kim Kardashian. We share the same birthday and congrats to MarVic for being the first person who got the right answer to my little trivia in the previous post. (Maria, a little mystery gift is wrapped for you, will hand it over when we meet.)
So, OK. Another year goes by. It was just yesterday I was 40 and wow, today I am 41. I love being a year older; it means I am a little more wiser. I’m loving it even if it means my eyes are getting blurry, gray hairs are covering my head, my metabolic rates are slowing down and my knees are hurting from time to time from the weight they cannot support.
Buy hey, that’s the beauty of getting older. I’ve only just begun. Alhamdulillah.

Hello Emila,
I have been following your blog and I’m a big fan. You inspired me a lot. I’m a full time housewife and have a sketch book like yours- full of water colour and sketched anything. Its my hobby. Besides, I paint arcyclic on canvas. I don’t call myself as artist at all. Not at your level. I have never written to you until today. Its very ironic because we are sharing the SAME BIRTHDAY. I am wow by this. Anyway, wishing you a happy birthday and have a wonderful one. While age is just a number- just like you I stop counting when I reached 30. I’m 38 today. Its nice to know another libran that share the same passion- art . By the way, I was thinking to participate in the sketchbook project but my husband wasn’t sure whether its a hoax for making us to pay the USD25. My heart say to go a head. My head say no. Good luck with the project and I wish you for the success.

oh! happy birthday, mareena! thank you for reading and following my blog. it’s great to know that we share the same birthday and passion in art. i have two other friends who share the same birthday and both of them are into art.
about the sketchbook, actually USD25 is quite expensive for a cahier but i take it as they included the shipping and the registration fee and what not. so tak terasa sangat. just do it if you feel like it. i can feel you are dying inside to join the project.
