I went to the launching of Blog for FT today at The Pavilion KL. The event was launched by Minister of Federal Territories, Dato’ Raja Nong Chik Dato’ Raja Zainal Abidin.

Blog for FT is a contest to encourage the public to blog about the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan.

The objectives of the contest are:-

  • To create positive Internet buzz about the Federal Territories (FT).
  • To promote the spirit of 1Malaysia.
  • To serve as a powerful marketing and promotional tool for KL, Putrajaya & Labuan.
  • To highlight the positive activities being carried out by individuals, charities and groups in the Federal Territories.

The contest starts on October 5, 2009 and ends on January 5, 2010 and is divided into four categories – Malaysian public, international (open to overseas bloggers), junior (under-18) and Malaysian media.

P/s I met with Rizal from Rest N Rileks and got to make a new friend, Sheila. I would love very much to stay longer and get to know other bloggers but I had to leave early as I had to meet Linda and submit my calendar. ^_^
