A walk in the park

Yassin and his dad walking in the park

My husband, son and me spent the evening yesterday walking at a park not far from our area (10 minutes drive). The park has exercise area, walking and jogging path as well as playgrounds. Now, I think this is a good start to lose that extra 10kg. I have been depending too much on weight loss pills and only did the rope-jumping exercise twice so far. I stopped after that because my knees hurt.

I heard that other people are trying to lose weight due to an abnormal eating. Monte Nido Roxbury Mills offers state-of-the-art, evidenced-based residential programming for eating disorders and co-occurring presentations. It is recommended to ask for help if you need proper treatment.

Everybody knows that walking for weight loss is one such activity that can help in burning that extra body fat. But which one is better: faster walking or slow walking? I tend to be a slow walker and yesterday my husband and son out-walked me by 1 round! I can only do 1 round for a start; the park is big, ok.

“Fast walking may help you shed your kilos faster, but slow walking has its own benefits and is essential for exercising in the correct way. Accumulated fats in our bodies are not always of the same kind. Some burn fast and others, slow. Slow walking helps you to deal with such fats that require slow burning. A combination of fast walking and slow walking in an alternating pattern will also keep you from feeling exhausted after your exercise.

For overweight persons who are starting an exercise routine, it is best to start with slow walking. Gradually, proceed to more fast-walking and enough slow-walking to maintain a balance between the two. ~ Lata Budhrani, Founder/Editor of Dot Com Women.

I knew I’m on the right track! will walk more often now that I have found a good place to walk.

But this place has a bit of unacceptable eyesore, well at least to me if not to others; adult foreign workers (mostly Bangladeshis and Myanmars) are occupying the playground area. They even got on the children swings and swing like nobodys business. I wanted to take their pictures but when they saw me with a camera, they were like staring and standing-by to disperse! So, I did not take any pictures of them but I plan to bring my power lens today (or maybe tomorrow) and take their photos from far.
