    Golden Jubilee

My parents-in-law celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last Saturday and the whole family gathered together to mark the special day. Recital of Surah Yaasin and Doa Selamat prayer has been held earlier the day.

Ok, I will post pictures of Yassin’s birthday shortly but before that I need to clear off pending assignments, reply e-mails, illustrate for IF, look for auto insurance quotes, do blog visitings, update my other site, sew some bags any many more!

  • moleskine,  pen & ink

    Finally! *

    Pen and Ink

With this sketch, I now officially finished my own challenge of completing my Moleskine Sketch Book before the year ends. All artworks done in the moleskine are merely to enhance my artistic skill and to explore the use of art medium. I learned that watercolor is not good on this type of paper (but it’s perfect for pencil colors) and the acrylic cannot be too thick, else it would be glued to the opposite page.

I had fun drawing in the moleskine and as for next year, I will be challenging myself to complete my Moleskine Watercolor Journal. I’ve been keeping it for over a year and thought it would be nice to fill it up with watercolor works.
