Here’s a real dolly for you to win in conjunction with my birthday on 21st October. Fancy winning this dolly for yourself, your daughter, your niece or your little sister?

All you need to do is:

1) simply guess the time I was born.
2) tell me why you want the dolly in my comment box.

A winner will be chosen based on:
a) the exact guess of my birth time
b) the best reason (only if there’s no exact guess)

This contest opens to all, locally and internationally. 3 guesses only are allowed per participant! Contest ends on 20th October 2008, 12.00 midnight.  I will post the winner’s name the very next day on my birthday!

About the doll:
I made this piece yesterday. Did a bit of changes to the real pattern. The body is made from thin raw fabric and the coloring was done using acrylic wash. To make the color stays, I added Jo Sonja’s Textile Medium for Fabric Painting in the wash. The top is made of felt cloth while the skirt from my collection of fabric leftovers. The hair is made from acrylic yarn.

I think I’m buying the pattern so that that I can make more and sell them!

    The dolly is cute.. Hehe.. I am not very good in guessing. But I am guessing 12pm, 8am and 4am *finger cross*…. I want the dolly so much because I think it will represents a friendship monument between two bloggers. To which ideas could only be read and seen rather than meet personally in the reality..

    And I’d love to have this doll cause it would make a great and huggable reminder of baby Issy who just went back to UK! :(
