    I won?!

I saw Bem69 congratulating me but I didn’t know what was it for but then I noticed Miklberry congratulated me (previously in the shoutbox) for winning the Foldees contest!

I never win anything big before and I never thought that I would win this Foldees contest at all!

    I won the 1st place!

But frankly, I was excited when I first submitted my designs (I submitted Grin as well, he didn’t win) but it turned sour in the middle. Something happened and I was too demotivated to continue, so I wrote a withdrawal letter only to be rejected later. Lol, what was I thinking?!! Silly me!

Congrats also to my fellow designer friends Bem69 and Noelevz for winning the 2nd and 3rd prizes!!!

Thank you everybody for all your support! I am sorry that I had to cancel the giveaway for the ‘vote for me in Foldees contest’ which co-incided with my 500th post. I was madly sad that I took out most of the post content! Thank you to Marzie, Jean, TH, Dookie, Noelevz and Chak for being the earlier voters. For those of you who are not in this list, let me know who you are coz I have a little something for all of you. Please leave me your name & address at emila@emilayusof.com.

For your information, I’ve put up the earlier version of this card in my greeting card store many months ago. Changed the pencil to tablet pen for the foldees contest. I also gave free license of the earlier version illustration to AMBP as button banner.

    Moleskine Challenge

Aidil + Daniel | Watercolor + Prismacolor on Moleskine

This drawing occupied the centrespread of 4th signature of my Moleskine. There are 9 signatures all together. A signature has 6 leaves (12 pages). I thought of challenging myself to complete the whole book by December 31st. I have 66 pages left to draw so I think I can make it. But I dunno, the last time I challenged myself to draw fairies alphabetically, I only managed to draw up to letter K! Hope to complete the fairies too! The big L always gets in the way!
