School holiday
My cousins, Didi and Mimi (both age 15) along with my niece, Wanda (age 13) and I were having discussions yesterday about our plans for the big school holiday in November. We plan so many things including going away for a holiday. We can’t afford the luxury vacations abroad so we just booked few chalets in Pangkor Island. Of course the whole rombongan Cik Kiah will be coming along too. Besides vacation, we plan to sell some artsy crafty stuff at flea markets around KL and Selangor area. I’m helping them to get some pocket money to buy additional school stuff by selling their own creations. Of course, I will be selling too. I’ll be producing printed items of my artworks and maybe make some totes, t-shirts, knitted phone covers, necklace with handmade pendants and what not. My niece suggested that I even sell my original paintings too but I dunno, they are all very hard to let go. But I’ll give it a thought though.
Do you know any good flea markets to sell stuff? Let me know k! I’m gonna have to start doing the reccee as of today. Thank you much!

Emila, last time my friend used to sell at Bangsar, right outside BSC, dunno still have or not there. How abt the one at The Curve?!! It’s always packed with peeps and got so many nice and interesting stuff there! 😛

night market is nice too. I know my friends been telling me there’s one at Connaught Cheras the biggest.. every Tuesday night if not mistaken.

Kalau mall dekat Amcorp Mall memang ada Flea Market, every weekend kalau tak salah.
Tapi kalau nak jual dekat Downtown Cheras pun okay jugak.

maybe you also can ask some shop that sells retail arty farty stuff to let you put yr paintings there. just give them a cut for every piece of artwork.. some might agree cos it helps them to have more variety.

Good idea for having a stall at flea market..especially for the creative student..its time for them to learn how to yearn money. I remember when my mother taught me how to sell ice cream every weekend during my school days.. 🙂
