Jackie – Emerging Young Artist – Emila Yusof (Emilatopia)

WOW – was the first thing that came to mind when I saw Jackie’s drawings that she sent through e-mail. Her works are filled with such great detail, very delightful and absolutely charming!

I’ve recently got to know Jackie from her father, JD, who left messages in my shoutbox saying that his daughter loves my artwork. Jackie told me that she loves drawing and uses crayons and colour pencils as her main mediums. I personally think that her drawings are beautiful! Her shadings are great and her choice of colors are just the way I like it–calm and cheerful!

At 9 years old, Jackie’s definitely a talented girl. I like the 2nd drawing, I can’t draw humans! The sky is lovely 😀

She’s got talent! She should join some drawing competitions if there is any in the near future. I started joining contests since primary school, some organized by City Council and Arkib Seni. It’s really good for extra-curricular activities. Who knows, she might grow up to be as talented as you, Emila. 🙂
