I have not been participating for Monday Artday for quite sometimes and thought I start illustrating every week now. This is an additional resolution for this year.

The theme is ‘Busy Town’- This ‘town’ is a mixture of Penang, Melaka and KL.  Added a French-style kedai roti (bakery) and kedai kopi (cafe). I use Micron pen for overall drawing, Artline Calligraphy pen for the title and Kurecolor marker for the shading. Here’s a cropped close-up:

    This is an excellent illustration! Lots of interesting detail and love the limited color palette! What a great goal… I look forward to seeing more illos!!!

    Hi Emila…love this one. I have always wanted 2 draw towns, never got around doing it cause one needs 2 pay lots of attention 2 detail. Amazing as usual :)

    Hi Emila! Thanks again for the beautiful holiday card :) Your latest illo is wonderful with detail and I love your choice of color palette!! I too have been trying to get more drawing in since the new year began – I decided that I’ll either need longer days or less sleep, lol!
