Fairy Series: #6 Faye
Faye | Micron Pen & WatercolorI’m using one color scheme for this fairy; and maybe for the next ones. Hehe…no, I’m not running out of watercolors, it’s just that I need to change concept once in a while and I thought this looks pretty neat.
So, 20 more fairies to go!

Throwback Thursday: Yassin at 3 – 5 months
3 months oldYassin started responding to our voice by smiling. He was more alert and interested in everything that went on around him.
4 months oldYassin began to talk – he started to make all sorts of repetitive, high-pitched giggles, shrieks and noises. He squealed and laughed with delight and made “raspberry” sounds with his lips.
5 months oldHe could accurately reach out with one hand and trap an object in a mitten-like grab. He would inspect the object carefully and yes, you guessed it right, put it in his mouth.

Fairy Series: #5
Fairy #5: EllaMeet Ella, the new addition to my fairy series. I have been behind schedule and might not be able to complete all 26 fairies by end September, so I am extending the challenge to a new deadline, October 21st (haha, talk about own rules and own game! Syok sendiri!). I will be turning a year older on this date and would very much like to complete the series to mark the special day. Haha! I know, I know ,but this is the only reason I can come up with for not completing the challenge ;P Blek. Ok I try to complete at least half of it. I’ve done up to #5, so maybe I could draw 8 more by end of this month.

Juggle – Illustration Friday
Juggler Girl | DigitalJust so you know, Emot can juggle too.
I’ve been busy with works but managed to steal few hours to do this digital drawing. Hopefully in few days time, I will be able to draw more. As usual, I used Adobe Illustrator for preliminary sketching and used Photoshop for effect and texture.

Goodies in the mailbox!
Ooh goodies! I love getting snail mails from friends! The last time I received a real mail from friend was over 20 years ago–from my penpal, Melissa. We somehow lost contact. She used to send me friendship pins, stamps and beautiful cards. I am glad to have made friends with such talented artists/friends from all over the world and to be exchanging arts with them! I hope our friendship lasts long and am looking forward to more exchange! Thank you all for the lovely arts!
