family photo 1976

I wish I could find more photos like this one. This not-so-complete family photo was taken back in 1976 during Hari Raya (Eid Mubarak) in Raub, Pahang. Most of the family members were not present. Standing at the back row (from left to right): my two aunts, Aunt June & Mak Andak (holding Zaidi), my late grandfather, my mother (holding my smallest brother, Azrai) and my cousin Zaitun. Standing at the front row (left to right): my cousin, Zul, myself ( I was 7), another cousin, Zaiwati, my big sister, Ida and my brother, Eddie. Zaitun, Zul, Zaiwati and Zaidi are Mak Andak’s children.

I went back to Raub last weekend and got this photo from Aunt June. Borrowed it for awhile to have it scanned and make few prints.

The baju kurung my sis and I wearing? O…I don’t really know what happened to it but I loved it! It has front left pocket; great for keeping coins. Boy, was I messy! But then again, my sister was even messier!!
